This song is dedicated to an old friend/bandmate from the 1980s. He rarely resisted an opportunity to play and sing for large crowds, but there was one type of gig we had to be careful about. Those were the outdoor festival-types. We rarely did them because he was managing a fairly serious case of Lupus. Extended exposure to direct sunlight was kryptonite for him.

We did do a few festivals... but the back-porch-umbrellas had to be packed with the gear. He could manage for the time it took to do our set, pack, and head home.

This song is for Timothy James... gone, but never forgotten.
